Why bother collecting links to web pages because the links eventually rot anyhow? Sooner than later, even, I think.

Just wondering.

(Note to self: need to find that script that analyzes the ratio of link rot in a big collection of old web pages. The links rot pretty quick, actually. We just tend to read web pages that are updated often.)
